Project StarPaw was born from two lives that forever changed mine.
Rachel, my friend. Paris, my Jack Russell.
Their lives were very different, but they shared one heartbreaking reality: they were both fighting cancer at the same time.
Rachel left light. Paris brought joy. And together, they inspired a mission rooted in love:

Project StarPaw exists to create deeply personal experiences for individuals and families facing cancer — moments of joy, peace, connection, rest, laughter, and love.

Pawsitivity in Motion is Project StarPaw's movement and endurance-based awareness initiative.
It turns miles into momentum, remembrance into action, and movement into moments cancer can't take away.
Berlin Marathon 2026
In 2026, Project StarPaw founder Mathew Riquier will run the Berlin Marathon through a charity opportunity with Flatwater, a Texas-based cancer charity.
Through that effort, he will carry Project StarPaw's mission forward - honoring Rachel and Paris while raising awareness for moments cancer can't take away.

❤️ StarPaw Legacy Fund
Supporting families when they need it most.
Cancer affects far more than health. It can disrupt routines, create unexpected burdens, and make everyday challenges feel overwhelming. The StarPaw Legacy Fund is being developed to ease those burdens through meaningful acts of support, practical relief, memorial gifts, and moments of peace during some of life's most difficult days.
Because sometimes hope looks like an extraordinary experience. And sometimes hope simply looks like one less thing to worry about.
